BOTSO(Brothers Organized To Save Others) is a
non-profit organization of primarily(but not exclusively)
African-American male mentors who create activities and
facilitate programs for the youth of our community.  We
believe that young men need to be inspired to envision and
maximize their potential.  We teach young men
responsibility, character, discipline and respect in a
structured setting.  Our goal is to expose inner-city
youth to opportunities they would not have normally had
the chance to experience.  BOTSO was formed in 1993 by
four African-American men from Greensboro and High
Point, North Carolina.
