| Over the past 18 years, WFMY News 2 has honored 165 outstanding volunteers in the Piedmont with our 2 Those Who Care Service to the Piedmont Awards. The award recognizes the “unsung” heroes in the Piedmont, people who take extraordinary steps to personally help others. The “2 Those Who Care” Board of Governors, a group of distinguished members of the community, selects ten finalists from nominations received across the 15 counties WFMY News 2 serves. The 2005 recipients were honored Monday, August 22th with a dinner and live one-hour broadcast from the Sheraton Greensboro Hotel at Four Seasons. Congratulations to BOTSO Founder and Director Henry "Hank" Wall for being chosen as one of the 2005 recipients of this distinguished award. Click on play below to see the video footage. |
